After the Christmas celebration in 2023 and the New Year in 2024, Darmaria once again had the opportunity to carry out a social service project at St. Hilarius Klepu Parish, Ponorogo on January 13-14, 2024. Before the departure, Darmaria had conducted fundraising for donations in the form of funds (for GCU test equipment, tubing equipment, blankets, floats, and helmets). The arrival of Darmaria also coincided with the 12th anniversary of St. Hilarius Parish, allowing Darmaria to participate in the celebration. The parish's birthday celebration took place on Saturday, January 13, in the evening, right after the mass. Many performances were showcased, including the traditional Ponorogo dance called Tayub, complete with singers and residents joining in the dance. There were also band performances that combined modern musical instruments with traditional ones like gamelan. The celebration continued with the Social Service event the next day, on Sunday, January 14. We engaged in friendly interactions by providing dental education for the BIAK kids, conducting GCU examinations for the elderly, and a cooking demonstration for the mothers. In addition to the daytime Social Service activities, we also went to the river to try tubing, which we contributed to building Klepu Village into a tourist destination. We carried out all these activities with great joy, leaving a lasting impact on each of us.
